Description: 

This single estate-grown tea comes from an award-winning tea producer. Woojeon grade tea represents the year's first harvest in spring before the first Monsoon rains or around April 20th. Cultivators hand pick just budding leaves then wilt, steam, roll, and gently roast them to create this delicate yet flavorful tea. These leaves contain the sugars and nutrients stored in the tea plant over the winter. This tea is considered one of the highest-quality green teas produced in South Korea.

Tasting Notes:

Smooth, slightly sweet, with a delicate yet robust flavor. 

Brewing Instructions:

Metric: 

  • Bring filtered water to 80 degrees Celsius

  • Add 0.5 liters of water to 4 grams of tea 

  • Brew for 1-3 mins. Brew longer or use more tea for a stronger flavor. 

Imperial:

  • Bring filtered water to 176 degrees Celsius

  • Add 16 ounces of water to 0.14 ounces of tea

  • Brew for 1-3 mins. Brew longer or use more tea for a stronger flavor.
